| A long-established Japanese-style inn located on a promontory
overlooking Mikawa Bay. The spacious lobby speaks volumes about the elegance
and dignity of our guestrooms. The fact that we are known locally as a restaurant
inn provides evidence of our irresistible cuisine. We mainly use the fish caught
in Mikawa Bay to ensure that our guests are always fed the freshest seasonal
dishes. We are also greatly blessed with a variety of hot spring baths, which
adds to the attractions we have to offer. Our pure alkali hot spring, which has
been named the White Skin Bath, contains ion and is well-known for its beautifying
effects. Our large granite bath, our outdoor bath situated in a panoramic garden,
our characteristic cavern bath and all of our other baths are sure to enhance
the experience of bathing while staying at the inn. |

| Hot springs are said to be effective in beautifying skin and delaying the
onset of aging, and this bath is a pure alkali bath containing minimal saline
and calcium, which is unusual of the east coast of Japan. Each of our four baths
provides different experiences to delight our guests. The bath in the main building
contains permeable mineral rocks, such as tachetic granodiorite, abundant in
minerals. The far-infrared effect and minerals contained in these rocks stimulates
perspiration to maximize the detoxification effect. |

| Mikawa is blessed with warm weather throughout
all four seasons, and it is surrounded on all sides by the ocean, mountains and
nature. Our chef uses only fresh fish, seasonal ingredients and other local produce
that has been naturally cultivated in the preparation of all his dishes. |

| The tranquility of our Japanese garden will
provide spiritual relaxation for all our guests in the spring, when the cherry
blossom petals are carried on the wind, in the summer, when gentle breezes rustle
the new verdure of the trees, in the autumn, when the trees turn red and gold,
and in the winter, when the ground is dusted with snow. |
